Apologies for the supremely unoriginal entry title but I couldn’t be in a less creative mood now. Just got back from a massive MASSIVE Japanese buffet dinner at Brighton and while the food wasn’t great, the company was anyway so I had fun. And I’m stuffed. :/ We also went to the Werribee zoo this morning, but I obviously haven’t begun the editing process for all … 200++ photos yet so to spice this progressively-unreadable post, here’re some photos from an afternoon last week when Arthur, Sal and I decided to head out for lunch.

My Indian takeout.
Arthur’s pork and century egg congee.

Quail that was purchased like fried chicken.

Hello, our fine friends from the animal kingdom.
We bought takeouts from Crown and walked by the Melbourne Convention Centre, then Sal spotted a little ramp that led to this … mini-wharf thing. So we plonked ourselves down, devoured our lunches (Arthur bought deep fried quail from the food court and it came in a paper bag, wtfz) and then enjoyed what was left of the sun before running back home when the evening chill started to set in. If you ask me, it was the perfect way to kick the term break off.
