This girl’s in love

Took a break from my assignment (30%, due tomorrow, and I only started it this morning) to check my email and this beautiful piece of news greeted me - THE PRESETS HAVE RELEASED LIMITED EDITION SUNGLASSES! HOLY MOTHER OF FRIGGIN’ CHRIST, SOMEBODY PINCH ME BECAUSE THIS MUST BE A JOKE RIGHT? RIGHT!!!!!?
Dehhhhhh! Wrong. No joke. The Presets have indeed launched a series of three limited edition styles of sunglasses, the result of a collaboration between The Presets, Colab and Zawada. Craftily named after their songs, the Pretty Little Eyes pair (named after my favourite song too, lanjiaooo surely this is a sign!) have caught my eye and I’m just so friggin’ excited about it because A) I LOVE JULIAN AND KIM OMGOMGOMG I LOVE THEM BOTH SO MUCH and B) it is pretty. And pretty + Jules = maximum love explosion.

LOOK AT THIS GORGEOUSNESS! HOW CAN ONE NOT WANT IT, REALLY? Despite my fat, round face, I personally am a huuuuge fan of round-frame glasses and am seriously not ashamed to say that I think they look motherfucking hot on me. :) So this … this is just perfect, with its futuristically shiny Silver Metallic Titanium (sounds fucking impressive, dunnit), all inner hardware polished silver and UV lens in solid Silver mirror (means you can see your reflection in my lens, douche).
And then reality hits: Only 1,000 individually numbered pieces have been manufactured and I’m betting that even at its steep price tag of AUD275, it’s still going to get snapped up in a matter of days. :( Sadness clouds my world with a black cloud of depression and melancholy.
So I’m just going to skip ahead to the denial stage - If I save it as my screen wallpaper, it will almost feel like I own it, right? *Cue blank-and-manical-yet-strangely-innocent-but-still-fucking-creepy grin.
