Such shredded goodness
Oh yehhhhhhhhhhh, remember when I mentioned before that I was embarking on a DIY project on a Nobody dress and a seam ripper? Well, the lack of news should’ve already made it quite clear that that particular project was abandoned, mostly because the dress was made of some sort of really weak cotton that just wouldn’t shred right. Okay, that was a shitty excuse. The truth is, I got lazy. Because I’m a pig and I’m not ashamed to call myself that.
The whole point of recounting that story is because I’ve just found Rouge et Noir, a pretty fucking awesome label that sells shredded EVERYTHING. Be it shirts, dresses, tunics … you want a shredded top, they will give you a fuckin’ top shredded until it is a whole new garment by itself. :) What I’m most interested in are their longer hemlines, like this Flapper dress, or this Stonem dress, and would you look at this angel of a Rib Cage dress? Seriously, think of all the layering possibilities!

Their prices range from USD60 to >USD100, amounts that my bank accounts certainly do not approve of. However considering the amount of effort put into each piece, I think it’ll be worth every dollar. Trust me when I say this: DIY shredding is possible, and I fully encourage any activity that loosens the strings around your wallet. However for those lazy, rich and experimental muthafakaz out there, this is right up your alley.
Man, if only I was rich. I’d buy up a ton of avant-garde pieces, mix them right up with some high-end vintage designer stuff and parade on the street like I’m some friggin’ god when I actually look like a homeless man.
