Recently been getting into how images and words can come together to form a beautiful relationship. Infographics, when done right, are amazing to look at because that massive graphic is essentially the culmination of hours of content planning and creative thinking - to successfully fuse the two so each point is well represented by a graphic, and each graphic is elaborated on with short, effective copy.
This latest interest reminded me of the opening scene of Stranger Than Fiction (2006). I remember first watching this, and being struck by how the motion graphics complemented Emma Thompson’s narration so well. Six years on, it still impresses me.
